Fourteen gilt frames arranged at short intervals so that they in turn produce one large frame each feature a blank sheet positioned so that it is askew. On each sheet there is a letter or a number that together, in a clockwise direction, spell out the date specified in the title. Other blank sheets are scattered in random order both inside and outside the large frame.
A tribute to the artist’s friend the gallerist Alfonso Artiaco on the occasion of the gallery’s first two decades, the title of the work refers to the period of time between the date when it first opened and the year of its twentieth anniversary.
